Vision
To nurture a generation of Muslims who are contemporary in outlook yet firmly rooted in tradition.
Mission
To educate, equip, and empower the Ummah with knowledge and wisdom so that intellectual growth leads naturally to spiritual enlightenment.
Overview
IFP continues the mission that the great philosopher, Sir Dr. Allama Muhammad Iqbal, began a century ago through his groundbreaking Reconstruction of Religious Thought in Islam. Today, in 2025, the need of the hour is to carry forward his legacy while remaining original and creative.
What makes this project unique is that very few works in English have successfully reignited the “spark of Iqbal.” By this we mean the rare balance between tradition and modernity. Too often, authors either cling rigidly to tradition without grasping the dynamics of modern life, or they embrace modernity while severing ties with tradition. Iqbal was one of the few thinkers who embodied both. Staying true to his spirit, this initiative seeks to enrich the field in a groundbreaking way.
This body of work—essays, articles, posts, research papers, book reviews, translations, poems, thesis ideas, and aphorisms—has already received high praise from renowned scholars and professors in the USA, Malaysia, Brunei, Denmark, Saudi Arabia, and Pakistan. It is the fruit of an irreplaceable journey spanning 20 years.
This is not merely another project but a major intellectual and literary contribution to Islam’s philosophical and spiritual dimensions, especially from a revolutionary perspective. We have sought to appeal to all audiences—Muslims, Christians, Jews, and even atheists. The intended readers are serious seekers of Truth, and the work avoids both preachiness and sentimentality.
This library of work has the potential to engage brilliant minds, move pure hearts, and enliven souls irrespective of religion, race, nationality, gender, or color. Both academics and general readers will benefit. If properly launched, it can capture the imagination of the Ummah, addressing the immense void felt by modern humanity in a deeply fractured world.
